Roberts WebForge, Inc. was founded in early 2005. Jim Roberts, the founder, has been providing internet consulting services to small companies since 2000. The company is based in Lansdale, PA, but provides services to companies spread across the country. We specialize in building custom web applications, database design, and software customization. As the founder and President, Jim Roberts deals personally with each client, and manages all projects to their conclusion.
No Surprises
We understand that most small businesses have tight budgets, and do not like surprises when it comes to money. Our goal is to always be clear about the costs of a project, and to keep the client apprised of its progress. This eliminates the potential for hidden or unexpected charges; the client always has a good estimate of the final cost.

PHP is a common scripting language used for web programming. I program primarily in this language, and recommend it for most applications. It can be embedded with html code, and connects to mysql very easily.
Perl is another scripting language that was once the primary way to add functionality to a website. Most early cgi scripts were written in perl, though it has now declined in popularity compared to php and ASP.
MySQL is a freely available relational database system, commonly provided with web hosting accounts. Many applications, such as shopping carts, blogs, cms’s (eg. joomla) and forums use mysql to store data.
Javascript is a client side scripting language that is run by your browser after loading a web page. Javascript provides a lot of nice functionality, and is also used for the ajax method of programming that is hot these days.
