I program in PHP, mysql, javascript, and Perl, usually on linux / unix based hosting platforms. Common applications I deal with are e-commerce (shopping carts), listing databases, forums / bulletin boards and web forms. I often deal with existing (someone else’s) code, or purchased software that includes source code. In addition, I’m a reseller for authorize.net (a leading online payment processor), and Sunshop.

Unlike many programmers, I have years of experience maintaining, monitoring, and updating linux / apache (web server) systems. This gives me a deeper perspective when troubleshooting issues. It’s especially helpful working with clients who have dedicated servers, doing site migrations, DNS moves, etc. If you need someone with a wide skill set in web technologies, I can help!

Description: The client site tracks marcellus shale gas wells in Pennsylvania. This site was custom programmed, to handle account signups, payments, and electronic document purchasing. Marcellusgas.org

Description: The client needed shipping values to be fixed when sending an order to Google checkout, and also using International shipping. www.elipey.com

Description: The client is looking to develop a video centric website that will include videos uploaded to Youtube. I set up Youtube Direct (YTD) as a proof-of-concept to review the features and options.
Project: Sunshop Modifications

Overview: Google base (products) feed customization
Description: The client wanted to split all products out to a Google Base products listing. The included code did not account for multiple versions of a product, so I modified the code to create product lines for each version.
